We love our new Adirondack Post and Beam Home built by Brownell Construction Company Inside and out, it is functional and beautiful. Dealing with the Brownell team was a pleasure from initial contact to completion. Construction, right through finishing touches, reflects old-time Adirondack work, aesthetics, and craftsmanship. Work was on schedule and within agreed budget; cost was fair, reasonable and affordable. What was promised was always done and even went beyond what was required. For over 60 years my family has done business with the Brownell family.  When my grandfather, Walt Roberts built our camp in the Town of Day, he purchase native wood products from Vic Brownell at Brownell Lumber Company in Edinburg.  Since I took over our camp in the 1970s I have dealt with Bradley Brownell at Brownell Lumber Company, who is Keith's father.  I have known the family my whole life.  A few years ago I was looking for a contractor to replace my roof at the camp.  This is when another Roberts-Brownell relationship was formed.  Keith and I got together and worked out what was needed for the job and the particulars.  He completed it on time without any problems. 

The next year my wife and I decided to put a deck on the front of the camp.  Again I contacted Keith and he designed and built the attached deck.  Unfortunately my wife didn't like the design that Keith and I had worked out, so we stopped and redesigned the deck without any problems in the middle of the job. 

Again the following year I decided that I needed a workshop in the backyard and Keith was contacted.  We came together with another idea and my new workshop was built.  We also had some new access stairs for the lake built before we were done. 

I would recommend Brownell Construction to anyone that needs work done.  Keith and his crew are very capable and hard working.  They get the job done.
